About Me

I help organisations turn their ideas and business needs into effective, reliable websites. Gena ThompsonMy background combines business analysis, web development, and content management expertise, allowing me to design digital solutions that are both technically sound and aligned with real organisational goals.
During my time at North-West University, I worked as a Business Analyst and Drupal specialist within the IT department, where I was responsible for supporting and enhancing the institution’s web presence. I built and maintained Drupal websites, configured modules, and developed customised themes to meet the university’s visual and functional requirements. I also managed a large and complex web environment of more than 20,000 pages across three languages, ensuring usability, consistency, and proper governance across numerous subsites.
This experience gave me deep insight into challenges such as multilingual content management, structured workflows, permissions, and scalable website architecture. I focus on creating solutions that are not only visually appealing but also easy to manage, reliable, and tailored to each client’s specific needs.
Today, I work with clients to build websites that support their business objectives—whether that means improving their online presence, streamlining content management, or creating a platform that can grow with their organisation.
